The density of competing exhibitors within a single hall created a natural price discovery mechanism that served buyers effectively.
This environment also served a trust-building function that remote procurement processes could not replicate. Face-to-face meetings with factory representatives, direct inspection of product samples, and in-person quality discussions established the relationships that would sustain supply agreements for years following the event. The strategic value of an exhibition was partly determined by its location. Shenzhen events attracted the highest density of contract manufacturers and component buyers.
